Hillsville Volunteer Fire Department Responds To
Farm Tractor Fire on Snake Creek Road

On April 02, 2010, the Hillsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to 4161 Snake Creek Road for a farm tractor on Fire. When fire trucks arrived on scene, members located a 1952 model 30 Ferguson, owned by Walter McGrady, fully involved with fire. The Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire with the use of water and foam chemical. Thankfully no one was injuried in the incident.
