Hillsville Volunteer Fire Department Responds to a Multiple Vehicle Accident On Carrollton Pike

Around 11:30 am this morning at intersection of Carrollton Pike and Exit 14 North Bound on Ramp, two vehicles were setting at the light waiting for it to turn green when the female driver of the Toyota saw the GMC truck coming up behind her and not showing any signs of stopping, she said I couldn't move or get out of the way. The GMC  truck hit her in the rear end of her car pushing her into the truck in front of her she was unable to get out till Emergency Crews arrived on the scene. The Toyota received a lot of damage , the female driver and the driver of the GMC were both taken to the Hospital by Carroll EMS. The Virginia State Police investigated the accident.
