Multiple Vehicle Accidents Causes Havoc on Interstate 77

Today, June 20th, around 2:00 PM , A multiple car wreck on I-77 Northbound at the 18 Mile Marker sent EMS and Firefighter EMT's scrambling to help several people that were injured when three cars tangled up during a rain storm. It appeared that in one of the cars the passenger air bag had been turned off letting the passenger hit the windshield. Several EMS units and the Hillsville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, the Virginia State Police handled the investigation of the acciodent.
